The Final Salary section of the Diageo Pension Scheme provides you with a pension for life based on your years of service and salary while working for Diageo.
The Final Salary section of the Diageo Pension Scheme provides a pension based on your salary and how long you’ve been a member of the Scheme. The pension you receive from the Scheme is guaranteed from the day you retire for the rest of your life.
From 1 April 2018, members of the final salary section moved to build up benefits on a CARE basis.
How do I know if I’m a Final Salary section member?
The Final Salary section closed to new joiners in September 2005 so if you joined Diageo prior to September 2005 then you are likely to be a member of this section of the Diageo Pension Scheme.
